Elena Iacobita has chosen to run for the RVT because the work we do is closely related to her work. Elena works as part of a small Catastrophic Injury Case Management team. Most of her clients are victims of road traffic collisions and have sustained traumatic brain injuries, or life-long physical disabilities as a result.

She works very closely with their family, friends, and others affected but knows that not every victim has the ‘financial advantage’ via a personal injury claim, nor does the support always extend to the wider network around them that has also been impacted – therefore she would like to run in support of RVT as she is grateful of services such as ours.

‘I believe the work you do is significant and know it makes a world of a difference for the victims and their families. I hope I can only do them proud on the marathon day.’

Elena will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 on the 6 April 2025 and has just set up a fundraising page. She has set her goal at £300 and is almost at a third of her target already!
