Three wonderful runners managed to secure their own places for the TCS London Marathon 2026 and have chosen to run for RVT!

The London Marathon is a world-famous annual 26.2-mile road race held in April and is known as one of the six Abbott World Marathon Majors. It is one of the biggest annual one-day fundraising event globally, drawing elite athletes, charity runners, and tens of thousands of participants on a route passing iconic landmarks like the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, and the River Thames.

Meet the runners!

Kelly Gell has gone above and beyond in raising funds for RVT after losing her best friend Kelly Baker in 2022. Last year she, and her partner Nigel, ran the Brighton Marathon for us and she has wholeheartedly thrown herself into various events and activities to help us to sustain our work. We are grateful to have her continuous support.

Gemma Gleeson has first hand experience of how seriously a road collision can affect clients and how this impacts all areas of their lives. She fully supports the work that we do and will be taking part in the marathon to help raise funds and enable us to continue supporting individuals and families.
