Legal support
For many people bereaved or seriously injured in a road crash, expert legal advice is essential. It helps with things like wills, probate, and claims for damages. It is vital to choose a solicitor with the correct expertise.
The Road Victims Trust do not make referrals to law firms or solicitors, but, if asked by people we are supporting, will direct them to this page of our website.
In the interests of impartiality, we follow the advice of the College of Policing – Authorised Professional Practice – who are the official source of professional practice for UK Police Forces. The ‘Investigation of fatal and serious injury collisions’ chapter provides links to a directory of Personal Injury Lawyers.
The RVT have worked together with locally based solicitor firms who assist us with promotional and fundraising events, training and meeting some of the costs of our Annual Services of Remembrance.
